I was looking to change my letting agent and from asking some contacts Ivy Gate came highly recommended. From day one they were excellent. My initial enquiry was quickly directed to Lee Archer the lettings specialist in their team. He is terrific to work with, has an eye for detail on property specifics, possesses excellent knowledge of the current rental market, puts together a great online listing (description, photos, floor plan etc) and runs a first class process to take enquires received through to a completed letting with high quality tenants. We used Ivygate to sell our property and we are very happy to recommend them. Our initial meeting was with Stuart and we had a positive impression. The advert made the house look as good as can be expected and we soon had quite a few viewings. Clare (who is engaging and provides instant initial viewing feedback) conducted most of the viewings. However most of our contact afterwards was with Stuart. We found Stuart to be excellent. He clearly has lots of experience and seems to read situations well. He's very available and you never have to wait long if you need to talk. There were bumps on the road with our sale but that wasn't down to Ivygate but a wider situation. Stuart navigates these with you so you feel like you are in good hands. When Stuart was away, Matt filled in and was fully aware of all the issues so there was no drop in service.

The sales process was brilliant but the real challenges came when the process to exchange and complete started. Ivy Gate are by far the best estate agency to work with. I honestly cannot recommend them enough.I was lucky enough to have Matt and Clare manage my property sale and they were phenomenal. The service was incredible from start to finish.My initial interactions were with Stuart and Clare. They proactively secured a buyer within a week, after it had been listed with another local agency previously.Unfortunately, during very turbulent market conditions our buyer withdrew but Matt responded with sound advice, support, and reassurance.When the house was remarketed Matt took the reigns and with Clare's initiative-taking approach obtained multiple offers within a very short period.Matt then managed the sale, through to completion which at times was stressful, unpredictable, and fragile. Brilliant at every step! Clare Penney, Babak Sianaki, and Jack Davis transformed the process of looking for a first rental in Kingston. I had spoken with several other agencies who basically warned me that it would be nearly impossible to find what I wanted. The team at Ivygate did the opposite- they had the “we will make it happen” attitude. And they did! They gave really helpful advice at each step, genuinely cared to make it a good experience, and got every detail right. The property is just what we wanted. Ivy Gate were, once again, simply outstanding in everything they did. They sold our house for us at the price we wanted and we ended up buying our new house through them. On the day of the move, Matt came over with the keys and the alarm was beeping loudly (low battery). They have been incredible from start to finish, from the moment Stuart came to the house to do a valuation he had a friendly and warm demeanor, he gave us a realistic but very good price but not over valuing the property as many estate agents do just to win your business. We got more than we had hoped for the sale of our house which we are thrilled about. Ivy Gate sold our 4 bedroom property in Thames Ditton within 2 weeks. I found them very easy to deal with, when we called the office they responded quickly. I’ve had to move a lot in my time and IvyGate have far and beyond been the best agents I’ve ever dealt with. The team are so friendly, Jack and Katie particularly always make me feel like a human being and not just another tenant. Ivygate were fantastic both times we have worked with them. I'd highly recommend Stuart and his team. On our house purchase a few years ago, Stuart worked hard up the chain to ensure the deals got done. More recently, Claire and Stuart were both brilliant on our sale, getting a huge amount of prospective buyers through in a short space of time and getting us a price that we were very happy with. Stuart knows the Thames Ditton market really well and has been a great source of information and guidance. Having a group WhatsApp was a big help too and he was always very responsive, even outside of business hours.

Our property was on the market with another agent for over 2 years and that agency did a bad job (I won't mention their name). We moved with Ivy Gate who managed to sell our property in 4 weeks. Stuart, Lee and Clare are great to work with as they are personable, experienced and very professional. We would not of sold our property if it was not for their hard work. Ivygate have looked after our property for the last 8 years, managing the rental and recently selling it.
